On Tuesday, I had the opportunity to be on Fox News Rising alongside my colleagues from the Greater Charlotte Chapter of the International Special Events Society (ISES) as we promoted our 2011 Events In Excellence Awards Gala.
I mentioned before on the blog that I was the Co-chair for the event and it was very exciting to see everything come to life. The theme was sports/competition and we pulled out all of the stops for the special events industry here in the Carolinas. We had Jon Wilson from Fox News as our host, an appearance from the Carolina Panther mascot, Sir Purr, the Livingstone College marching band, and more!
